Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course was updated by Joe Lee in 1988. In 2003, Jack Nicklaus led the redesign of the course, and he returned in 2014 to build upon and enhance his previous work.
With risk-reward par fives, water features, strategically placed bunkers and large well-protected greens, the golf course is both scenic and challenging.

Watch out for # 6, a 460-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Royal Palm is # 17, the 175 yard par-3.
